While the constant barrage of amazing views and old villages is charming, do not for a second think the lakeside is a dormant community. Once you know where to look this area can offer a multitude of activities, ranging from hiking to swimming, and even skiing if the season is right.

Lovere swimming pools

In Lovere you can find two existing indoor pools, a large outdoor pool with water chutes, a pool-side solarium and an extensive area where you can lie in the shade. Open all year round.

Playa Beach Sarnico

Just east of Sarnico lies a popular 8000 sq m beach area. It has a bar where you can get ice cream, coffee and other refreshments. It is suitable for suntan and relaxation. There is water access, with a shallow area where kids kan play.

Monte Isola

The island offers many activities. Visit the many attractions and shops on the island. A stroll around the island will take you just shy of 3 hours. If you are up for a challenge, hike up to The Sanctuary of Madonna della Ceriol at the peak of the island and get a glimpse of the amazing view.

Tennis Sport in Lovere

The club, located in the tourist port of Lovere, is equipped with two fixed structures in laminated wood which respectively cover a red clay tennis court and a multipurpose tennis / soccer field with synthetic grass.

Località Gre Beach

This is one of many small locations where you can park next to lake and jump in for a refreshing dip. But watch out, they are easy to miss. Park by the quarry just north of the location and a quick stroll will take you right to the lake.

Agriturismo Padem Da Rosi

Don't miss the chance to go out to an agriturismo and eat a rustic lunch or dinner. We have our local favourite just above the village of Fonteno. Drive up the mountain, then climb some more and finally you'll arrive at Rosi, for a fantastic view and some amazing food. Book a table.
